In the community we work to deter violence and delinquency among young people. We do this through mentoring and counseling services. As we go out into the community we are constantly reminded of the need for these types of programs in the community. All too often, children look up to the wrong type of role model and are drawn to the wrong types of activities. Mentorship is a way of introducing children to positive role models and from these introductions lives can be changed.
